A new BCG-based wearable monitoring system

Ballistocardiogram (BCG) can realize the detection of cardiac function from mechanical dimensions. A wearable system that can collect real-time BCG signals is designed in this paper. The signals are collected and processed from 7 healthy subjects. An improved PT state machine logic joint algorithm is proposed to locate the J peak, K peak and L peak of signals. The waveform characteristics of the processed signal are basically consistent with the standard signal. The equipment with small volume, low power and convenient operation has broad development prospects in health monitoring and analysis of heart rate variation.
