Study on seepage deformation characteristics of soil-structure interface under confining pressure

The interface between soil and structure widely exists in all kinds of engineering structures. It is a key part of engineering structures. Once the seepage failure condition is reached, it will lead to disaster accidents such as structural instability. According to the seepage deformation characteristics of the soil-structure interface under confining pressure, a fluid-solid coupling numerical calculation model is constructed, and the deformation laws of the interface under the confining pressure are analyzed in this paper. The main conclusions are as follows: With the increase in the cohesion, interface stiffness, and confining pressure, the deformation of the interface shows a nonlinear growth trend, and the critical hydraulic gradient shows a linear growth trend. With the increase of the confining pressure, the influences of soil sample cohesion and interface stiffness decrease gradually.
