摘要
In this paper, a crosslinked silicone rubber is prepared with polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS) as the main material, 3-glycidoxypropyltrimethoxysilane (KH-560) used as a crosslinking agent to introduce 4,4′-dithiodianiline (4-AFD) into the silane networks. The crosslinked silicone rubber can be self-rapairing by activated the included aromatic disulfide bonds under heating stimulation. Thermal and mechanical performance tests are carried out to characterize the properties of the repaired rubber. The research shows that thermostability of the silicone rubber is basically unchanged after repair, while the mechanical properties have decreased. This convenient and environmental method is favor to improve the service life of organosilicon resin and conducive to energy conservation and emission reduction.
