Single-crystal Ti4O7 nanosheets with super-high conductivity, electrochemical stability, and corrosion resistance can be a perfect carrier for precious metals. Not only do they achieve synergy with noble-metal atoms, but they also facilitate an enhanced metal-support interaction interface under light irradiation. Thus they can provide low-cost, highly reliable electrode materials (Pt/Ti4O7) for fuel cells used in intermittent renewable energy storage in power grids, especially for districts with harsh conditions.
