Topological Phase Transition in MoTe ₂ : A Review

Weyl Semimetals Metallic MoTe2 undergoes a transition to a topological Weyl semimetallic phase (below ~250 K) which also hosts a superconducting ground state at very low temperatures. The topological and the superconducting transitions are both susceptible to various stimuli albeit with opposite dependencies. In article number 2200420, Suvodeep Paul, Surajit Saha, and co-workers think that the two apparently unrelated phenomena may not be after all unrelated.
