Optimal Analysis of Multi-Energy System towards Low-Carbon Building

The design of multi-energy systems for buildings is one of the most impressive ways to effectively reduce the carbon emission of buildings and alleviate the energy crisis. In this paper, a multi-energy system planning method comprehensives economy utility and low carbon requirement is proposed based on carbon trading price from the whole life cycle. The model includes hydrogen, photovoltaic, wind and a series clean energy supply sub-model, and using detailed simulation data of the hourly operation of the buildings to give the optimization planning scheme, and analyzing the relationship between the cost and carbon emission under the different energy design situation. Two cases of buildings in northern and southern of China show that the proposed model can meet the energy demand in the whole life and relatively clean energy types represented by PV are effective in northern China. Then taking the other southern building as an example to analysis detail optimal balance plan comparisons between the carbon emission and cost.
