摘要
Purpose: CXC chemokine receptor 7 (CXCR7) is known for its strong affinity with its ligand Stromal-cell derived factor 1 (SDF-1, another name of C-X-C motif chemokine 12 CXCL 12), which mediates the inflammation of synovium and cartilage. However, the effect of CXCR7 on the pathogenesis of osteoarthritis is not well studied. Herein, we investigated the role of CXCR7 under inflammatory condition using primary articular chondrocytes obtained from mice in order to clarify the relationship between CXCR7 and the pathogenesis of osteoarthritis.
