Insights into boron accelerated Fenton-like chemistry: Sustainable and fast FeIII/FeII circulation

摘要
•The A-Boron/FeIII/PDS system can rapidly and completely degrade BPA for ten cyclic runs.•Fe(IV) and free radicals exhibit substrate-dependent reactivity for oxidizing contaminants.•QSAR study reveals that kobs values of contaminants linearly depend on their EHOMO.•A-Boron can maintain high equilibrium concentration of Fe(II) for fast Fenton-like PDS activation.•Fast dissolution of surface boron oxide enables a reactive surface for long-lasting operations.
