A large capacity system basing on Faster-than-Nyquist technologies using narrow-bandwidth components was experimentally demonstrated with a hybrid of simple transmitter DSP and optical-equalization for an efficient spectrum-shaping to achieve 1.96Tbps net rate over 120km transmission.
