A low -modal-crosstalk 4 -LP -mode demultiplexer with orthogonal combiner for degenerate mode reception is designed and fabricated by side -polishing processing, based on which DSP-free IM/DD MDM-WDM transmission over 20 -km weakly -coupled FMF are experimentally demonstrated.
