Decision-support system for precision regulated deficit irrigation management for wine grapes.

•The designed decision-support system for grapevine irrigation consisted of two models: a soil moisture prediction model and a regulated deficit irrigation scheduling model.•The soil moisture prediction model was built to predict soil moisture changes over the upcoming week.•The regulated deficit irrigation scheduling model was developed to predict the water needs and create an adequate weekly drip irrigation plan for controlling the soil moisture at desired levels.
