Stability investigation of two distributed generation in DC microgrids

摘要
In this paper, an investigation of stability of the decentralized DC microgrid is presented. The studied system consists of two distributed generations (DGs) connected to the load via long cables. A DC-DC boost converter is considered for DGs and a load. The boost converters are functioned in a continuous-conduction mode (CCM). Two cases are studied. In case 1, PI controller is utilized to control the boost converters. In case 2, due to passivity definition, each DG is controlled using passivity-based control. For the current sharing between DGs, the droop voltage control is applied in two cases. The simulation results using MATLAB/Simulink software are presented for both cases.
