Design and Implementation of Frequency Synchronization of Satellite-Ground Transmission Link Based on FPGA

Satellite mobile communication uses low-orbit satellites as relays, which can realize communication between long-distance users and has the advantages of comprehensive coverage and long communication distance. However, there is a high-speed non-uniform relative motion between the low-orbit satellite and the ground terminal, which will lead to a substantial-frequency offset and frequency offset change rate, which significantly affects the quality of satellite-to-ground communication. If this problem is not solved, then the communication must not be successful in FPGA. Based on the research on the satellite frequency synchronization algorithm, this paper realizes the frequency synchronization module and its hardware acceleration in satellite-to-ground transmission by using the parallel acceleration characteristics of FPGA and verifies the correctness of the module's function under the channel simulator.
