摘要
Introduction: Juvenile nasopharyngeal angiofibroma (JNA) is a rare benign tumor accounting for 0.05 to 0.5% of all head in neck tumors and occur almost exclusively in adolescent boys. Although benign, JNAs are highly vascular, locally aggressive, and destructive, often extending to the skull base. Endoscopic resection is typically the treatment of choice. Due to the extensive blood supply from the external carotid artery, JNAs frequently require preoperative embolization to prevent severe intraoperative blood loss.
