摘要
•The n-p type BVO/BFO heterojunction was prepared successfully.•BVO/BFO heterojunction showed a superior degradation rate up to 98% for RhB.•Built-in polarization field enhanced the separation of electron-hole pairs.•Excellent carrier transport property boosted the piezo-photocatalytic activity.•The improved piezo-photocatalysis was revealed by experiment and DFT calculation.
