Western blotting showed that the protein levels of activated Notch intracellular domain (NICD) and Hes-1 were significantly reduced by DBZ in human umbilical vein endothelial cells (HUVEC). HUVEC were grown to confluence and treated with increasing concentrations of DBZ for 8 hours.
