Parameters Setting of Firefly Algorithm

Parameter setting is one of the long-standing grand challenges of the metaheuristic algorithm filed. The effect of the optimization algorithm will mainly depend on the setting of the algorithm-dependent parameters. The best result for solving the optimization problems can be achieved by the optimal setting of the algorithm’s parameter. In this paper, we investigate the parameter setting problem of firefly algorithm. The sufficient simulation results are showed that with proper setting of the parameter firefly algorithm can converge efficiently and accurately.
