Multicast-Based Opportunistic Content Delivery in Fog-Aided D2D Networks

This paper puts forward and analyzes a fog-aided F-D2D (device-to-device) networks. This network uses PPP (Poisson point process) distributed nodes and opportunistic content multicasting. In this paper, we first propose a candidate file selection scheme (the random file selection, RFS) and an opportunistic content delivery scheme. To solve potential multicast file selection problems and unintended and cache invalid harmful interference of regular user devices, respectively. Then, the successful content delivery probability of the network is obtained by deriving the activation probability of the network, and the results are verified by simulation method. In this way, we evaluate the performance of the network.
