Integration into school and society is one of the most frequent problems for immigrant students. There are different approaches to promote integration in the classroom such us the educational policy, the characteristics of the centre, the educational project, the curriculum or the learning techniques. Gamification and game-based learning allow students to increase their engagement and motivation. In this context, the GAMIGRATION project (Gamified Values Education for Fostering Migrant Integration at Schools) is proposed. It is a European-funded project focused on integrating im-migrant students at the school through a set of educational resources applying gamification techniques for teachers and students. GAMIGRATION introduces gamification techniques to explicitly teach English vocabulary and grammar to immigrant and local students. The main goal is to teach the EU Citizenship Values implicitly.
