Perception of the Internationalization Process by the University Employees: The Case Study of Innopolis University

The COVID-19 pandemic has been a game changer for many aspects of the educational environment worldwide. Together with positive aspects of digital acceleration, there have also been obstacles in keeping internationalization processes on track. In this paper, we consider a case study of an educational institution: Innopolis University. We analyze the perception of teaching and research staff for what concerns internationalization. We organized a survey involving Innopolis staff and survey questions aimed at revealing their attitude and understanding of the process and its relevance. The outcome is twofold: on one hand the understanding of the perception will be instrumental for the International Relation Office to better involve the faculty in the process; on the other hand, sharing the result with the scientific community will help other organizations to reflect on their own progress and to better involve their staff.
