Musculoskeletal Soft-tissue Masses MR imaging-Ultrasonography Correlation, with an Emphasis on the 2020 World Health Organization Classification

STMs are commonly encountered in clinical prac-tice with a wide range of benign and malignant eti-ologies. US and MR imaging have evolved to play an important complementary role in the identifica-tion and evaluation of these masses as well as in planning percutaneous biopsy, surgical excision, and surveillance. Radiologists should be familiar with the updated WHO classification for STMs and the features pertaining to the various categories.
