In order to explore the effect of various factors on the lightning withstand level of transmission line, taking 110kV transmission line as an example, the simulation calculation model is established in ATP-EMTP software according to the actual line tower type, line structure and other parameters, the flashover model is established with 50% flashover voltage of insulator string as the index, and the flashover of insulator string is taken as the measure index of lightning withstand level, This paper analyzes the effect of tower grounding resistance value, insulation level, i.e. the number of insulators, whether to install arresters and the number of lightning wires on the lightning withstand level of 110kV voltage grade transmission lines, and summarizes the law of improving the lightning withstand level of transmission lines, which is helpful to guide the transmission lines to improve the lightning withstand level in engineering practice and for the lines with different voltage grades To provide reference.
