摘要

•At −1.0 V, Co-hydroxide was electrodeposited on nickel foam.•The Co-hydroxide was calcinated, sulfurized, and phosphorized.•The prepared cobalt sulfide displayed a lower OER overpotential of 282 mV@10 mA/cm2.•Cobalt sulfide displayed 3.7 F/cm2 specific capacitance and 0.144 Wh/cm2 energy density.
