摘要

•Schiff base ligand and its copper (II) MOF were synthesized and characterized.•Both the compounds were studied using single crystal diffraction analysis.•Both the compounds were studied for their human antiglioblastoma properties.•Cu-NMDP was found to be potential antiproliferative agent with both dose and time dependent effect.•IC50 values were calculated from the dose-response curves at various periods of time.
