The relation between Honesty-Humility and moral concerns as expressed in language

•We test if HH predicts the type of moral concerns people express in language.•We conceptualize moral concerns using the Moral Foundations Theory.•Using NLP, we analyzed language use for the presence of the five moral concerns.•We found that HH positively related to the expression of justice/fairness concerns.•HH did not relate to the expression of the remaining Moral Foundations.
