摘要

•Catheter-directed thrombolysis and large-bore thrombectomy can be used to treat pulmonary embolism.•The mortality and rehospitalization rate were similar between both the approaches.•The safety profiles of both the approaches were similar.•Patients who died within the first 30 days had worse clinical markers.
