To the Editor: We thank Drs Steinman, Dixon, and Zachary for their viewpoints on our original article.1 We understand that they have previously called to re-evaluate Mohs micrographic surgery (MMS) for the treatment of primary superficial basal cell carcinoma (sBCC),2 and, therefore, we welcome the opportunity to clarify our study’s findings and their potential impact on clinical practice.
