Magnetic MnFe2O4/MoS2 nanocomposites synthesis for rapid degradation of sulfamethoxazole by activated peroxymonosulfate

摘要
•MnFe2O4/MoS2 nanocomposites with high efficiency of degradation and reuse were successfully prepared.•The degradation efficiency of SMX by MnFe2O4/MoS2–3/PMS system was 99.1% within 15 min.•SO4•- and •OH radicals were the main reactive oxygen species.•MoS2 promoted the redox cycle of Fe (II)/Fe (III) and Mn (II)/Mn (III).
