摘要

•A sensitive electrochemical biosensor for detection of Pb2+ was developed.•The proposed electrochemical biosensor was constructed based on RCA and DNA-AgNCs amplification strategy.•Triggering RCA-based DNA amplification facilitates RCA product hybridized with DNA-AgNCs to generate enhanced electrochemical signal.•The developed biosensor exhibits wide linear range and low detection limit of 0.3 pM.
