摘要

•A dual-mode pyrene-based Zr-MOF was constructed to realize fluorescence “turn-on” in alkaline, and “turn-off” in acidic conditions.•The pyrene-based Zr-MOF fluorescence detection of alkaline pH liquid was established.•Detection method of pH film sensor by embedding the MOF particles into the PVA substrate was developed using smartphone detector.
