Hydrophobicity-enhanced daytime radiative cooling films based on polyvinylidene fluoride-co-hexafluoropropylene and hydrophobic fumed silica

摘要
•A DRCF made of PVDF-HFP and hydrophobic fumed SiO2 was fabricated by an electrostatic spinning technology.•A maximum sub-ambient temperature drop of ∼8.1 °C in Shanghai and that of ∼9.75℃ in Qingdao were achieved.•Cooling power of 101.29 W/m2 was achieved during the daytime in Qingdao.•The DRCF exhibited great hydrophobicity to resist potential contamination issues.
