摘要
It is clear that we must redesign our domestic and urban environment to mitigate our present climate problems. To that end, it is necessary to look at historic tactics of shelter and climate mitigation but equally plan for the deeper future. This might entail spending more time under ground. Mehrnoush Latifi is a lecturer, researcher and the course director of the Bachelor of Design (Architecture) at Swinburne University of Technology in Melbourne. She and Guest-Editor Jane Burry here explore the potential of life below the earth's surface.
