摘要
The study aimed to establish a nondestructive testing method based on the electrical properties of kiwifruit. Based on the measurement of parameters, including hardness, titrated acid (TA), Vitamin C (VC), total chlorophyll content, soluble solids content (SSC), water content, weight loss rate, and respiration rate, the correlation between postharvest quality and electrical characteristics of Hayward kiwifruit containing N -phenyl- N -(2-chloro-4-pyridyl) urea (CPPU) treatment during storage at low temperature was evaluated. Results showed that the characteristic frequency of kiwifruit treated with and without CPPU was 40.301 and 1447.3 kHz. Furthermore, a significant correlation between the pulp color and electrical characteristic parameters was observed. Parallel equivalent inductance ( L p ) was the most sensitive electrical parameter correlated with the color a . In this study, a mathematical models and a nondestructive testing technology based on electrical characteristics were constructed to demonstrate the potential of the electrical properties to screen the kiwifruit treated with CPPU in different concentrations. Our study provides theoretical guidance for the rapid screening of kiwifruit treated with different CPPU by electrical characteristics. Graphical abstract
