摘要
Oral food challenges (OFCs) are considered the gold standard to diagnose food allergy.1 After a patient has passed an OFC, also known as a negative OFC, introduction or re-introduction of the previously labelled allergic food into the daily diet is strongly recommended to prevent the transition from asymptomatic sensitization to symptomatic allergy.2 However, about 28% of negative OFCs result in continued avoidance.2-4 Information on how to improve likelihood of food (re)-introduction could benefit clinicians and their patients.
