摘要
Insomnia is a sleep disorder affecting 6% of people with substantial impairment in the quality of life with symptoms of low energy, irritability, and depressed mood. Chinese medicines have positive effects against insomnia with various formulae. A core formula of 7 constituents was extracted from 1,494 clinical prescriptions of Duan-Haichen, a national famous Chinese medicinal doctor. To explore the potential regulation networks of the core formula, we collected and integrated experiment-based compound and targeted proteins, directed and functional protein regulations, and differentially expressed genes (DEG) of insomnia. Targeting the up- and down-regulated DEGs, two networks were constructed towards positive- and negative-regulation of the DEGs, respectively. Further enrichment analysis on KEGG pathways revealed that the DEGs are heavily involved with Parkinson’s disease and IL17 signaling pathway.
