摘要

•In optic fiber sensing field, it shows the highest magnetic field sensitivity of 23.7425 nm/mT under magnetic field lower than 3mT.•The sensitivity is 250 times and 13.9 times than ordinary long period fiber grating and tapered fiber.•Dual-peaks-MTLPG (taper-long-period-fiber-grating-filled-with magnetic fluid) realizes the two parameters demodulation in the different range of magnetic field.
