摘要
•Ag/UiO-66@g-C3N4 Z-scheme ternary heterojunction photocatalyst was successfully prepared by a facile calcination method.•Ag nanoparticles act as the “linker” between UiO-66 and g-C3N4.•The formed Z-scheme heterojunction improved the charge transfer and separation efficiency.•The Z-scheme Ag/UiO-66@g-C3N4system could be verified by PL.•The Z-scheme mechanism of as-prepared photocatalyst was revealed in detail.
