Effects of using aqueous graphene on behavior and mechanical performance of cement-based composites

•Aqueous graphene (AG) is an intermediate product of powder graphene (PG)•The performance of AG and PG cement composites was investigated.•AG shows better dispersibility and stability in aqueous solution than PG.•AG samples show better mechanical performance than AG samples.•AG with lower cost and embodied carbon is suitable as replacement for PG.
