摘要
•Under visible light, 0.90Bi2WO6/0.10Bi2MoO6 heterojunction exhibited more PCA than Bi2WO6 and Bi2MoO6 for Rh B.•The FTIR and XPS analysis clearly revealed the formation of heterostructures.•The charge accumulation takes place through Z-scheme between Bi2WO6 and Bi2MoO6.•The suitable optical band gaps and the redox potentials of Bi2WO6 and Bi2MoO6 improved their heterostructure’s PCA.•The ∙O2- and h+ radicals actively participated in dye degradation.
