Rapid photocatalytic degradation of tetrabromobisphenol A using synergistic p-n/Z-scheme dual heterojunction of black phosphorus nanosheets/FeSe2/g-C3N4

•A novel p-n/Z-scheme dual heterojunction photocatalyst was prepared.•The dual heterojunction promoted photogenerated electron directional transfer.•Redox ability was enhanced due to the formation of built-in electric field.•O2•− and •OH played dominant roles in TBBPA degradation.
