Rapid microwave synthesis of Bi2WO6 for C=C bonds oxidative cleavage to ketones with visible light irradiation in aerobic micellar medium

The Bi2WO6 nanoparticle prepared by rapidly microwave method could be used in the oxidative cleavage of CC bonds to ketones in water at room temperature with the irradiation of visible light under O2 atmosphere. This heterogeneous catalyst could be reused for at least 7 times and maintain high activity. This method provides a green and efficient process to prepare ketones.
