摘要
Advances in the diagnosis and management of breast cancer have evolved over recent decades with paradigm shifts seen in the loco-regional and systemic therapies. Breast cancer surgery continues to proceed in a stepwise, evidence-based progression towards less invasive oncologic treatments with superior reconstructive and cosmetic outcomes. Studies have demonstrated that nipple-sparing mastectomy (NSM) with reconstruction results in high patient satisfaction1 while maintaining oncologic safety.2 Recent attention has focused on returning protective and erogenous breast and NAC sensation.
