摘要
Trapeziectomy is a common surgical treatment for osteoarthritis of the first carpometacarpal joint. There are several techniques described in the literature for reconstructing the resulting space between the base of the first metacarpal and the scaphoid bone. A Cochrane Review in 2015 found no evidence that any of these techniques significantly differ in terms of function or post-operative pain. 1 Wajon A. Vinycomb T. Carr E. Edmunds I.
