摘要

•Diastolic myocardial stiffness increases linearly with age in the young.•Diastolic MS correlates more robustly with age when IVSd is >4.4 mm.•In neonates, no correlation was seen between diastolic MS and age or echo parameters.•Future studies are needed for SWE in neonates.
