An Optimal Allocation Model of Coupled System Considering the Matching of Flexible Supply and Demand

In northern China, it is common for renewable energy and thermal power units to form a coupled system through the same interconnection point. In this scenario, the optimal allocation of renewable energy and thermal power units as a unified operation overall is the key to realize the economic operation of the system. Aiming at the volatility of renewable energy and the uncertainty of the load at the interconnection point in the coupled system, this paper puts forward an optimal allocation model considering the flexible supply and demand matching in the coupled system. Firstly, according to the matching degree of flexible demand and supply in the coupled system, the matching inder of flexible supply and demand is established. Secondly, the optimal allocation model of coupled system is established with the objective of optimal allocation cost and the constraint of flexible supply and demand matching index. Finally, a local power grid in Liaoning Province of China is taken as an example for simulation analysis. The simulation results show that considering the flexible supply and demand matching index in the coupled system optimization configuration can further improve the effectiveness and rationality of the system configuration.
