Leukocyte- and platelet-rich fibrin treatment of chronic lower extremity ulcer in a patient with systemic lupus erythematosus: a case report.

This case report provides a promising therapeutic strategy for the treatment of autoimmune-associated ulcers. More robust data from case series and RCTs are required to further evaluate the clinical efficacy of L-PRF in refractory ulcers in patients with autoimmune disease.
