The establishment of B cell-deficient Igh-J KO mouse model by gene editing and efficacy evaluation

•We established a B cell-deficient mouse model by gene editing.•Destroing IghJ genes resulted in mouse B cell depletion but had no effect on overall differentiation and development of other cell types.•B cell-deficient mice can provide functional NK and T cells for tumor immunotherapy.•B cell-deficient mice were effective in avoiding anti-drug antibodies due to immunogenicity.
