La mano (e la mente) dell?autore. storia e prospettive della filologia d?autore

The Italian literary tradition shares with the Spanish a wealth of author's genetic manuscripts that is incomparable to that of other European traditions, which is why author philology, a discipline founded by Dante Isella, but which goes back to an ecdotic practice dating back to the 17th century, can also be fruitfully applied to Siglo de Oro manuscripts, as has recently been shown on the Dama Boba. The contribution presents the history and the peculiar method of the discipline, in its rela-tions with Hispanic philology, variant criticism and genetic criticism, and outlines its development prospects, especially those linked to the new digital technologies, from spectrometry to authorship, to the application of AI to the study, also comparative, of authorial corrections.
