Performance of artificial intelligence models in estimating blood glucose level among diabetic patients using non-invasive wearable device data

•The use of digital biomarkers to monitor glycemic events represents a major shift in technology for self-monitoring diabetes.•We assess performance of digital biomarkers using non-invasive wearable devices.•We were able to estimate with high accuracy the relationship between glycemic metrics.•We provide further evidence of the feasibility of using commercially available wearable devices for the purpose of blood glucose level.
