摘要

•No reliable disease biomarkers exist in fibrous dysplasia/McCune-Albright syndrome.•Studied markers RANKL, OPG, sclerostin, IL6 did not correlate with disease severity.•Neither of these markers correlated with pain or predicted treatment response.•Additional investigations for disease follow-up may include lesional imaging.•This needs to be explored to monitor disease activity and therapy response.
